Each boat provides a report for the day describing their success (and struggles). We learn what species were biting in terms of when and where plus what tactics and tackle were successful. Guests are welcome to join us at the meeting to learn from our fishing reports. Beverages and dinner will be available for purchase.

Wednesday, October 8th – Anthony Zimmer – Unlimited Guide Service
Topic: Late Season Geneva Walleyes
Anthony Zimmer started fishing when he was about four years old. The first lakes he fished from a boat were East and West Loon Lakes in Antioch. His fishing mentor was a neighbor and close family friend. Anthony started guiding full-time in 2018 following a tournament background and eventually earned a USCG Captain license. He and his partner did finish 16th and in the money in March this year at the Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit Event at Spring Valley, IL.
Zimmer’s guiding business is Unlimited Guide Service. They guide multi-species on the Fox Chain O’Lakes, Geneva Lake, and Lake Michigan. Anthony’s favorite fishing methods are rigging, trolling, and casting but he will fish the tactics that will work to put his clients on fish. You can learn more at unlimitedguideservice.com or facebook.com/anthony.zimmer3/.
Anthony’s presentation will focus on techniques and strategies to catch late season Geneva walleyes.
